About me

So I guess to start things off; Hi, I'm Chelsea and I have a deep desire to live my life to the absolute fullest. From random New York City adventures, to nights in cuddled up next to my dog. Whatever it may be, I'm all about enjoying every moment. Helping others and making people happy is one of my biggest aspirations. I want to make a positive difference to every person that comes into my life. I believe that being a good person to someone who needs it really can make a difference.
I'm currently studying fashion merchandising. For those who know me, know that art plays a huge role in my daily life. Whether it may be music, fashion, painting, drawing, or the art of my surroundings. It all has a story to be told and that fascinates me. It inspires me as well as makes me the person that I am. For those who don't know me, you'll soon find that out.
I started this blog as a way to tell my story. The story about family, the good and the bad. The story about art and inspirations. The story about friendship and relationships and how to be a good person when you feel that everyone is against you. The story about a girl trying to make her mark on the world.
Welcome to my journey. I hope you can take something from my stories and become inspired to make a difference as well.

live the little things

#livethelittlethings
So my friend, Angela, challenged me to think of the little things that get me through my days. Things that most of us take for granted. And it really got me thinking about the little moments that don't always happen, but when they do, I truly cherish them. Looking back on a lot of the hard times I've faced, the littlest things always made those hard times just a little bit more bearable. Simple things, like spending time with loved ones, or going for a walk, or a sunny day, really can turn a bad day around.
Here's a list of some of the little things I value most:
  • Oversized knitted sweaters
  • The smell of coffee
  • Game night with the family
  • Coming home after a long day to find my dog waiting to greet me at the door.
  • Poetry
  • Good hair days
  • Random road trips
  • Playing piano
  • A home-cooked meal
  • Warm autumn days
  • Making people happy
  • Going on walks with my mom
  • Cuddling with my niece
  • When all of my close friends are in one place
  • Exploring new places around WNY
  • Nights spent painting or drawing
  • Laughing until my stomach hurts
  • Apple pie
  • The sound of rain
  • Watching history channel with my dad
  • Going to concerts with my cousins
  • Being a role model to my younger cousins
  • Long runs
  • Having the most amazing coworkers at all 3 jobs
  • The Lion King
  • Deep conversations with my brother
  • New makeup
  • Cheering on the Bengals
  • Being able to wake up looking forward to what's ahead.
