So my friend, Angela, challenged me to think of the little things that get me through my days. Things that most of us take for granted. And it really got me thinking about the little moments that don't always happen, but when they do, I truly cherish them. Looking back on a lot of the hard times I've faced, the littlest things always made those hard times just a little bit more bearable. Simple things, like spending time with loved ones, or going for a walk, or a sunny day, really can turn a bad day around.

- The smell of coffee
- Game night with the family
- Coming home after a long day to find my dog waiting to greet me at the door.
- Poetry
- Good hair days
- Random road trips
- Playing piano
- A home-cooked meal
- Warm autumn days
- Making people happy
- Going on walks with my mom
- Cuddling with my niece
- When all of my close friends are in one place
- Exploring new places around WNY
- Nights spent painting or drawing
- Laughing until my stomach hurts
- Apple pie
- The sound of rain
- Watching history channel with my dad
- Going to concerts with my cousins
- Being a role model to my younger cousins
- Long runs
- Having the most amazing coworkers at all 3 jobs
- The Lion King
- Deep conversations with my brother
- New makeup
- Cheering on the Bengals
- Being able to wake up looking forward to what's ahead.
